Store your Cardstock Scraps in a filling box.
Tip No.3
A neat and easy way to keep all your Coloured Cardstock scraps under control, store them in an easy to get to filling box.
This one is from Ikea and I think was designed to hold CD disks.
I always cut my scraps to fit completely in the box without bits sticking out. I also trim off uneven edges so the sides are generally straight. This helps prevent any paper tangles when I'm trying to get some paper out.
As you can see, to keep it simple, I just used colour groups starting at Neutrals all the way to Black. I made the dividers from the cardboard that comes with the DSP packs to keep them straight and flat. This way, I know it is acid free, plus it gets recycled.
This is stored in a space that I can access easily so I am more likely to put scraps away in there as well as utilize it.
